Coconino County Attorney Bill Ring Up For Prosecutor Of The Year Award
Coconino County Attorney William “Bill” Ring has been nominated for the National District Attorneys Association 2021 National Distinguished Prosecutor of the Year Award. Each year, the National District Attorneys Association recognizes prosecutors who have distinguished themselves among their peers as they seek justice, hold offenders accountable, and protect the rights of victims. The Distinguished Prosecutor Award will be awarded to a chief prosecutor, assistant prosecutor, or an emerging leader each year.

Missoula County Attorney Pabst Issues 2020 Crime Report
2020 was a tumultuous year for the Missoula County Attorney’s office with multiple high-profile trials that dominated the headlines, along with the complications that the COVID 19 pandemic brought to bear.
Missoula County Attorney Kirsten Pabst has released the official 2020 Missoula County Crime Report, and outlined many of the high-profile cases that her office prosecuted.
“Angela and Malcolm Cobbler were sentenced to 10 years each in the Montana State Prison for abusing their two adopted children,” began Pabst. “It s a pretty horrific set of facts. They allegedly locked them up and failed to provide them with food and a toilet. Our prosecutor Lacey Lincoln did a great job work working with social workers and Detective Crocker at the police department to bring those two to justice.”

Missouri attorneys and a legal scholar say the takeover of the U.S. Capitol by Trump supporters is the responsibility of the president and his allies in Congress, including U.S. Sen. Josh Hawley. It was a horrifying and shocking intrusion on the democratic process, plainly incited by the president of the United States, said Frank Bowman.
The MU law school s Student Bar Association has issued a statement calling for Hawley, a former professor there, to resign for his role in what it termed an attempted coup. In his relentless pursuit of power, Senator Hawley, a Yale-educated attorney, furthered President Trump s baseless election irregularity claims and committed sedition against the United States of America, the statement reads.
Chief Assistant DA Deborah Tillman retires after 25 years of service
MOBILE, AL (WALA) Mobile County Chief Assistant District Attorney Deborah Tillman has retired after 25 years of service to the Mobile County District Attorney’s Office.
District Attorney Ashley Rich stated, “Deborah Tillman is remarkable, and it has truly been an honor to have her sit beside me as the Chief Assistant District Attorney for the past 10 years. This office is a better place because of all that she has done for this community and the citizens of Mobile County. We are so proud of her accomplishments at the District Attorney’s Office, and I want to thank her for making such a lasting impression on so many people during her career.”
Erie County DA John Flynn sworn in for second term

BUFFALO, N.Y. John Flynn, the sitting Erie County District Attorney, was sworn in for a second term on Wednesday.
Flynn is now the 41st District Attorney for Erie County. His office says he plans to focus on mental health in the justice system, cyber crimes and the trafficking of illegal guns, in his next term.
Flynn was first voted in during 2016, and won the 2020 election unopposed.
