It is, apparently, National Margarita Day.
I’ll be honest, since the COVID lockdown began early last year, I haven’t had much enthusiasm for these nonsense food holidays. Or, I should say, I’ve had less enthusiasm than I previously had, which was not much.
But National Margarita Day? Now that’s something I can get behind.
It’s February in Oregon, an awful time even when the planet isn’t gripped by the twin terrors of a pandemic and climate change. It is hard to find even a sliver of light in these dark days.
