Padre Island National Seashore is offering beachgoers a nice special this Saturday.
The Texas national park is having a no-fee day, meaning visitors can enjoy the beach for free. The promotion is part of National Park Week, which runs from April 17 to April 25.
Padre Island National Seashore usually charges $20 per vehicle for a week-long pass, $10 per vehicle for a one day and $40 for an annual pass. The park, features 70 miles of protected coastline, dunes, prairies.
The fee-free day applies to all National Parks, according to National Park Service. In Texas, you can visit several sites like Big Bend National Park, Guadalupe Mountains and Lyndon B. Johnson.
