Gunnedah Shire to benefit from improved digital connectivity

Gunnedah Shire Council Gunnedah Shire residents and businesses will soon have improved access to high-speed broadband, with a Gunnedah project being funded through the Federal Government’s Regional Connectivity Program (RCP). Facilitated by Gunnedah Shire Council, the project will be delivered by Field Solutions Group (FSG), which secured more than $3.9 million in Commonwealth funding to improve broadband coverage across Gunnedah and surrounding villages. FSG will provide high-speed broadband through a fixed wireless network, comprising of 10 greenfield 45 metre towers and two co-locations. Mayor of Gunnedah Shire Cr Jamie Chaffey said improved digital connectivity will be game changing for both residents and industry.
