When will the decision come into effect?
The exempted categories of passengers will be allowed to travel to the UAE from August 5, 2021.
Who is allowed to travel to the UAE?
1. Those with valid residency visas who received the two doses of vaccine in the UAE, and 14 days have passed since receiving the second dose as well as having vaccination certificates approved by official authorities in the country.
2. Medical personnel working in the country will be also exempted, including doctors, nurses, technicians whether vaccinated or not vaccinated.
3. Those working in the education sector, who teach in universities, colleges, schools and institutes are exempted, irrespective of their vaccination status.
