Printing Process: Digital Printing The main objective of the project was to research about an existing product in the market with packaging issues which cause inconvenience to the consumers and to understand the reason behind the hassles in package design. After thorough study, the motive was to recreate a new design to make it consumer friendly. The product chosen by me was on package redesigning of Pringles. Since the can is too narrow in width, it is difficult to grab chips from the lower end of the can. It does mean that you can t reach into the can to pull out chips. This causes a lot of inconvenience to the consumers as they must turn it over to empty the can to access the rest of the chips, making the can itself useless.

Printing Process: Gravure printing The objective of this project was to find the most frustrating packaging we ever faced and to create a new frustration-free and sustainable packaging for the same. McDonald s Delivery s existing packaging was studied, analyzed through user testing and redesigned based on feedback. The main focus was to decrease the number of materials used in the existing packaging and also reuse some. For the packaging of the burger, the inspiration was an Armadillo, a little armoured creature. When threatened by a predator they roll up into a ball. The same concept was used here where the burger would be packaged in the wrapping paper. For delivery packaging, a sustainable, stackable design was made.

Printing Process: Digital Printing In Bombay textile history a woodblock maker plays a vital role but at the same time, they never had a celebrated identity as a designer. Their story always ended with every block they created. The wooden blocks that were used in Bombay during the last two centuries, few blocks are still present but nobody knows what happened to the artisans and who created those blocks, even from where those artisans and blocks came from? It still remains a mystery! Have we lost this unique part of Bombay?
Objective: The objective of this project was to find the most frustrating packaging we ever faced and to create a new frustration-free and sustainable packaging for the same. Spices are the foundation for Indian cooking. Anyone can find many varieties of spices packaging in the Indian market which includes a plastic jar, glass container, paper container, plastic pouch, etc. Plastic pouches are ideal for packing small consumer goods as they are weather-resistant, lightweight, and also give a better finish for printing. They also create many frustrations during the opening, and storing them in the kitchen is a major hassle. While designing new alternative packaging, the main constraint was to make sure the new design should be as easy as possible to handle when it reaches the customer and create a better experience for them.
Pratap Bose Parts Ways With Tata, Martin Ulharik to Take Over
Pratap Bose, a quasi brand ambassador for Tata Motors has quit
We still can’t believe we have heard “the Humanity Line…” said in that unmistakable manner for the last time already. Because, it turns out the man that lived, breathed design and what it meant for Tata has decided to part ways. Over the last 15 years, Pratap Bose has transformed and tied together Tata’s portfolio of hatchbacks, sedans, SUV, and even CVs together into one family using the sturdy but supple rope made of good design.
Having interned at Tata Motors while studying at the National Institute of Design, Ahmedabad, Pratap always wanted to return to the Indian automaker. After joining Tata Motors in 2006, Pratap set about turning his dreams into a welcome reality for Indian car buyers. However, now he has chosen to part ways with the company. It is not known where Pratap is headed next.
