Students in Wales want partial refunds for university accommodation because they are not spending as much time there due to the coronavirus pandemic.
The National Union of Students Wales (NUS Wales) said students shouldn t be penalised financially for following Welsh Government guidelines.
Two Welsh universities have offered students refunds.
Staggered returns are being introduced in order to help stop the spread of the virus in student accommodation according to the Welsh Government.
But some students feel they should not be paying for student accommodation when they are not there.

In the past year, Vaughan Gething has become one of the most recognisable politicians in the UK. The job of Welsh health minister did not used to attract much UK-wide attention. But as a result of Covid, and the focus that has placed on the devolved nations, it does now.
âSome government colleagues ask me: âHow do you do that job? Itâs awful.â Of course itâs difficult, but you make a difference and you meet remarkable people who benefit from the health service and remarkable people who deliver it.â
