Directorate formed for apartments project in Lahore Newly established authority to function under urban planning additional DG LAHORE: Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has set up a dedicated directorate for fast track execution of a project for the construction of 4,000 residential units in the LDA City Naya Pakistan Apartments. LDA Director General Ahmed Aziz Tarar, on Monday, highlighted that the newly established ‘Directorate of Housing XII’ will function under the administrative control of the additional director general (urban planning). The new directorate will be responsible for sales, marketing and estate management of the apartments. An officer of grade 19 will be posted as director and one of grade 18 as deputy director. In addition to this, two grade 17 officers will be posted as assistant directors in this directorate besides other requisite staff for its functioning.

Islamabad February 15, 2021 Rawalpindi : Ensuring the highest quality of work, National Logistics Cell (NLC) is giving final touches to one of the most important component of China Pakistan Economic Corridor’s (CPEC) Western Route Alignment as more than 95% of work has so far been completed, says a press release. The 285-kilometers long Hakla–Dera Ismail Khan Motorway project has been divided into five different packages which were awarded to various construction firms. NLC is working on Package-1 of the project and will be the first to complete its assigned section of motorway. Package-1 comprises of 4-lane carriageway having total length of 55 kilometres that originates from Yarik near DI Khan and culminates at Rehmani Khel area.

NLC lifts over 600,000 tons of wheat from ports to upcountry Islamabad January 25, 2021 Rawalpindi:National Logistics Cell (NLC) is carrying out one of the largest wheat transportation operation and has so far transported more than 600,000 tons of wheat from Karachi Ports to various storage facilities located in upcountry, says a press release. The transportation operation started in mid-October following import of wheat by Government of Pakistan to avert looming crisis of most important staple food in the country. Since then, NLC is busy in round the clock transportation and has employed all-weather and all-terrain vehicles to ensure uninterrupted supply of essential grain to the end consumers.
