National Volunteers Week 2021 | Chartered Institute for Archaeologists

Submitted by Meg Keates on Tuesday 01 June 2021 This week (1-7 June) is National Volunteers Week- the annual celebration of volunteering and the contributions of volunteers across the UK for a huge variety of organisations. National Volunteers Week is promoted by the NCVO, whose mission it is to champion the voluntary sector and volunteering through connecting, representing and supporting voluntary organisations. We would like to use this week to highlight the support and experiences of our volunteers and thank them for their contributions. Without the involvement of volunteer members, CIfA and our impact would not be as great. During this last year we, like other organisations, feel more grateful than ever.
