A frontline All Progressives Congress (APC) national chairmanship aspirant Alhaji Salihu Mustapha has cautioned against statements capable of plunging Nigeria into another civil war, saying violence is no respecter of religion or tribe.
He said a united Nigeria should be the concern of all to enable the country conduct a successful transition in 2023.
This statement was contained in a statement issued Sunday by Mustapha, a former Deputy National Chairman of the defunct Congress for Progressives Change (CPC).
“I condemn the attempt by some groups and persons to politicize our security challenges. As Nigerians, we should learn from the ethnic crisis in Rwanda and elsewhere. Violence has never solved any country’s problems,” noted Mustapha.

National chairmanship aspirant of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Alhaji Salihu Mustapha has warned against inciting comments capable of plunging the country into another civil war and instead seek peaceful means of resolving conflicts.
This is as Mustapha argued that only peaceful Nigeria will make possible the conduct of the 2023 general elections to birth a new government.
He disclosed this yesterday in a statement he personally signed and made available to newsmen in Abuja.
According to the ex-deputy national chairman of the defunct Congress for Progressive Change, CPC; Nigerians regardless of their political affiliations must realize that they have no other country other than Nigeria and must therefore avoid the path that would quicken her balkanization.

A national chairmanship aspirant in the All Progressives Congress (APC), Salihu Mustapha, has warned against actions and utterances that can lead to the outbreak of another civil war in the country, saying that Nigeria will not survive it.
According to him, if a war breaks out, it will not discriminate against religion or tribe.
This is contained in a statement made available to the media in Abuja on Sunday where he advocated unity to enable the country to conduct a successful transition in 2023.
