Lafourche Parish DA’s Office marks beginning of National Child Abuse Prevention Month
Members of the Lafourche Parish District Attorney’s Office placed blue pinwheels in the grass of the Children’s Advocacy Center Thursday morning to mark the beginning of National Child Abuse Prevention Month.

The pinwheels are also a symbol of the hope that all children grow up happy, healthy and prepared to succeed, District Attorney Kristine Russell said.
