TOPEKA – The Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) is accepting entries for the 2021 Missing Children’s Day poster contest, Kansas Attorney General Derek Schmidt announced.
All Kansas fifth-grade students, from public, private, or home schools, are invited to create and submit artwork that represents the contest theme “Bringing Our Missing Children Home.” The artwork must be original, handcrafted, 8 ½ x 14 inches in size, and contain the words “Bringing Our Missing Children Home.”

In honor of missing children across the country, the Colorado Bureau of Investigation is hosting a coloring contest for Colorado fifth grade students as part of a national campaign sponsored by the United States Department of Justice.
The poster theme is âBring Our Missing Children Homeâ and will feature the artistic talents of kids throughout the United States.
Posters must be submitted to the bureau by Feb. 8. The national office will not accept any entries. The poster representing the state of Colorado will be submitted to the national office.
The justice department will announce the winner at the annual National Missing Childrenâs Day ceremony in Washington, DC on May 19. The winner, along with his or her teacher and parents, will be invited to attend the ceremony.

The Michigan State Police Missing Children’s Clearinghouse is holding a contest for fifth graders statewide - the 2021 National Missing Children’s Day Poster Contest. This annual contest creates an opportunity to promote child safety while discussing the issue of missing and/or exploited children. This is actually a great project for an entire fifth grade class to be a part of.
