Patriot League conference play will start in early March and feature two divisions, according to coaches and administrators in the league who shared the league-wide schedule.
The Patriot League will feature North and South divisions, split by geography. Army, Boston U, Colgate and Holy Cross are in the North men’s division; Bucknell, Lafayette, Lehigh, Loyola and Navy are in the South men’s division. For women s, the South comprises American, Bucknell, Lehigh, Loyola and Navy. The North comprises Army, Boston U, Colgate, Holy Cross and Lafayette.
The men’s schedule starts March 6 and runs each Saturday through April 24, with a make-up week scheduled for May 1. It’s a single round-robin within the division, plus there are crossover games against out-of-division teams. The league season ends with some rematches of division games that will not count against the divisional standings.
