CORPUS CHRISTI, TEXAS â It started as a way for Jimmy Kurth to pay tribute to his son.
Kurth spent most of the last year and a considerable amount of money building it. A rewarding way to spend his quarantine.
âThis was my COVID project,â said Kurth. âWe couldnât do anything, couldnât go anywhere so I stayed in my garage for 12, 14, 16 hours at a time.â
After all those hours, Kurth created a moving tribute to his fellow vets, literally.
âWe need to honor our veterans and we need to respect our veterans,â said Kurth. âThis is one way that I can do that.â
