Hyderabad: ‘Hindu Dharma Protectors’ booked for assaulting pastor
The group assaulted the pastor after accusing him of felicitating religious conversions.

Hyderabad: Police on Thursday registered a case against a group that identifies itself as “Hindu Dharma Protectors” for allegedly assaulting a pastor. The group assaulted the pastor after accusing him of felicitating religious conversions.
According to Chandra Mouli, the pastor, he visited a believer’s house to offer prayers, where the group arrived and allegedly abused and assaulted him.
Following this, he lodged a complaint at the Vanasthalipuram police station, after which a case was registered against the group. The police said it is investigating the matter.

Hyderabad: Cyberabad Police Commissionerate on Monday, under the initiative of ‘Nenu Saitham’, unveiled 2058 new CCTV cameras. The project was inaugurated by Dr M. Mahendar Reddy, DGP, Telangana State Police at Gachibowli Police Station.
The police department claims that it is the highest ever one-time launch of CCTV cameras in Cyberabad Police Commissionerate limits.
According to police officials, these CCTVs will cover 18 police stations and 111 communities. The project is initiated with an amount of eleven crore thirty-two lakh, nightly thousand (Rs. 11,32,90,000) which has been donated by various IT companies and individuals under the corporate and social responsib

A man 60-year-old man was killed after the lorry in which he was travelling and was being driven by his son, allegedly in an inebriated condition, hit a another lorry.
According to Rajiv Gandhi International Airport police, the victim has been identified as Chandraiah, a resident of Jukal in Sangareddy district.
The road accident took place on the Outer Ring Road towards the Telangana State Police Academy.
The driver of the vehicle has been identified as K Srinu who allegedly had a blood alcohol concentration of 133. The lorry got onto the ORR by TSPA ramp and was going from Sadashivapet towards Chennai with a cargo of tyres.
