Police: Driver trying to pass tractor-trailer kills Norwich man in head-on crash

FRANKLIN A Norwich man was killed in a collision on Route 32 where his vehicle was struck head-on by another driver trying to pass a tractor-trailer, according to police.
A Connecticut State Police report on Friday identified the victim as 37-year-old Ramon Pantoja, of Sherwood Lane.
The driver in the other vehicle, identified by police as a 23-year-old Willimantic man, and the front-seat passenger, identified by police as a 24-year-old South Windham woman, suffered suspected serious injuries, the report said.
