SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The South Bend Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying two people they believe are responsible for a catalytic converter theft that took place on April 23.
The incident occurred in the 3000 block of Mishawaka Avenue at around 5:30 a.m.

SOUTH BEND, Ind. – The South Bend Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying an individual they believe stole a purse and spent over $2,000 at two local stores in South Bend.
The purse was stolen on April 9 and the individual spent the money that same afternoon.

St. Joseph County SVU investigating acid attack on woman By: Maura Johnson
ST. JOSEPH COUNTY, Ind. – The St. Joseph County Special Victims Unit is investigating an incident in which a woman claims she had acid thrown on her.
The South Bend Police Department was called to the 3400 block of E. Jefferson Tuesday morning for reports of the incident.
The victim, a woman in her early 40s, was taken to the hospital for treatment.
The victim claims she knows the suspect but the suspect left the scene before police arrived.
