A Dudley drink-driver who had cocaine in his possession has been ordered to pay £719 in fines and costs and banned from driving for 22 months. Rafal Kulasinski, aged 28, of Brewery Street, had 87 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath when he was tested after driving his Chevrolet Cruze in Tipton. The limit is 35. Rowley Regis man has been given a suspended jail sentence after admitting weapons charges. Daemon Maher, aged 36 of Harvest Road, pleaded guilty to ‘buying or acquiring a weapon that discharged electricity’, and having an extendable baton in St Giles Avenue. He was sentenced to 20 weeks in prison, suspended for 18 months, and ordered to pay £313 in costs. Magistrates said the offences were serious, but the weapons were not used in dangerous circumstances.
