New Yorkers over the age of 60, starting April 23, don’t have to fuss with trying to book an appointment for a COVID-19 vaccination online or over the phone as Governor Andrew Cuomo has announced all state vaccination sites will take walk-ins of seniors.

The Governor April 21 said the supply of vaccines is now more than adequate to meet the current demand and there are no excuses now not to get vaccinated, especially residents aged 60 and older that are at most risk for negative outcomes.
The goal is to reach herd immunity and the government is doing what it can to clear the way for people to get a shot. Cuomo says state, county and municipal officials can only do so much but it’s up to the people to come and get the vaccine.
