“The province of Ontario has indicated that they would consider reopening past Step 3 on Friday, Aug. 6, 2021 if, as a province, we have a first dose vaccination rate over 80 per cent for those age 12 and over and a second dose rate over 75 per cent,” Dr. Lianne Catton, medical officer of health for the Porcupine Health Unit, stated in an open letter to the community issued Wednesday.

Jason Fasciano, secretary with the Timmins chapter of Warriors Kanata – Hard Rock, noted they are asking interested riders or vehicle owners to come out at Narduzzi’s parking lot near South Porcupine Mall, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., to participate in the fundraising event.

The entry fee to participate in the event is $10.
Fasciano indicated the fee includes a ballot for a barbecue draw and a couple of other draws, as well.
Also, burgers and hotdogs will be available to all the participants during the event.
