PLANNING chiefs are studying an application to transform a brownfield site on the edge of a Hampshire town. Cleanslate Ltd is seeking consent to build 21 homes on land described as a former gas works and scrap metal yard at Garfield Road in Bishop s Waltham. The site is not part of the Bishop s Waltham Conservation Area but part of it lies within the South Downs National Park. Cleanslate s application includes a planning statement submitted by Solve. It says: This previously developed site site sits in the heart of a residential area.
