According to the National Weather Service, 2.5 inches of the 3.3-inch total in Seven Hills fell in just three hours, between 5:50 and 8:50 p.m. North Royalton was just behind with 3 inches, while Shaker Heights, Lyndhurst and Westlake recorded 2.5 inches. In Summit County, Bath and Boston Heights each recorded 2 inches, while 1.7 inches fell at the Akron-Canton Airport. In Geauga County, considered the heart of the snow belt, Thompson Township had 2.2 inches, but no other areas in the county reported more than 1 inch of snow to the Weather Service.
