Hudson-based Leaf Home Solutions is adding locations for two of its brands: Leaf Home Water Solutions and LeafFilter Gutter Protection.
Among the new locations the company announced Thursday, May 6, is a Leaf Home Water Solutions office in Broadview Heights, which opened the same day, according to a spokeswoman. That site will start with about 20 workers and increase with demand, she added.
Founded as LeafFilter Gutter Protection in 2005 by owner Matt Kaulig, Leaf Home Solutions has grown into a home-improvement and safety company that now also offers a variety of home products.

A disabled woman was killed in a hit and run accident in South San Jose, the second death of a disabled pedestrian at the same intersection in one month.
SAN JOSE, Calif. - A disabled woman was killed in a hit and run accident in South San Jose, the second death of a disabled pedestrian at the same intersection in one month.
According to San Jose Police, the incident happened near Monterey Highway and Curtner Avenue around 8:34 p.m. on Wednesday. Investigators said the woman was using a walker while walking westbound across Monterey Highway and was several hundred feet outside of the closest crosswalk. She was struck by an unknown vehicle and the driver fled the scene. She was pronounced dead at a hospital, making her the 16th victim of a traffic crash in 2021.
