WILMINGTON, N.C. (WECT) - A section of South Kerr Avenue in Wilmington has reopened to traffic following a gas leak Monday afternoon.
According to a tweet from the Wilmington Police Department, the gas leak occurred around 12:30 p.m. in the 700 block of South Kerr Avenue near the Goodwill store.
A spokeswoman for the Wilmington Fire Department said the repairs were completed in about 30 mins and the road reopened to traffic.
No injuries were reported and no evacuations were necessary.

They’re also offering oatmeal raisin and hot chocolate cookies at $24 per dozen. Orders can be placed online now for pickup between 10 a.m. and noon Dec. 23, and gift cards are also available.
