Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are seeking tips from the public to help solve a recent theft of fuel case.
The victim, a business located on Howick-Turnberry Road reported the thieves stole close to 500 litres of diesel fuel from some construction vehicles that were parked at the business. The thieves also broke into a storage trailer on site however nothing was reported stolen.
The theft of fuel took place sometime over the weekend of May 14.

On May 6, at 9:09 a.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a mischief report from a commercial property in the 200 block of Queen Street in Kincardine. Sometime between 3a.m., on May 6, and 4:30a.m., on May 6, a storage trailer was entered. No items have been reported missing at this time.
The South Bruce OPP is requesting anyone with information to call 1-888-310-1122. Should you wish to remain anonymous, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or submit a secure web-tip at www.cstip.ca, where you may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $2000.
