STEUBENVILLE Federico Foods isn’t a convenience store to stop by for a gallon of milk and a loaf of Wonder bread.
This is a fourth-generation family owned local business offering authentic imported Italian foods, a tradition of more than 90 years.

Caltrans awards nearly $5M for Solano safety projects
FAIRFIELD Solano County and six of its cities have been awarded close to $5 million in federal Highway Safety Improvement Program funds, the state Department of Transportation announced Thursday.
The project funds are part of $227 million awarded March 25 “to fund safety projects designed to reduce traffic deaths and serious injuries on city and county roads,” Caltrans said in a statement.

Crosswalks in downtown Brainerd are getting a makeover.
The Brainerd City Council voted unanimously Monday, March 15, to paint the downtown crosswalks bright blue to both differentiate the area from the rest of the city and promote walkability.
