EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) -University of Southern Indiana Men’s Basketball lost a heartbreaker to #5 (D2SIDA)/#6 (NABC) Truman State University, 75-72, Monday afternoon at Screaming Eagles Arena. USI, which had its winning streak stopped at seven, sees its record to go 11-4 this season, while Truman ends the afternoon 15-1.
The first half saw USI and Truman trading run for run in a hotly contested 20 minutes. The Eagles got the first two buckets of the game before the Bulldogs strung baskets together to take a 9-6 lead on a 7-2 run.

EVANSVILLE, Ind. (WFIE) - University of Southern Indiana Men’s Basketball put Quincy University on ice with an 86-71 victory Wednesday evening at Screaming Eagles Arena.
USI, which has won six-straight, sees its record to go 10-3 this season, while Quincy ends the evening 5-12. USI exploded for a 9-0 run to start the contest and never looked back. Junior guard

BOLIVAR, Mo. (WFIE) -University of Southern Indiana Men’s Basketball won a barn burner on the road at Southwest Baptist University, 84-77, Tuesday afternoon in Bolivar, Missouri. USI sees its record to go 4-2 this season, while SBU, who received votes for the NABC Division II Top 25 poll today, ends the afternoon 6-2.
USI started the game with a bang, jumping out to a 9-0 lead by hitting four of their first five field goal attempts in the opening three minutes. SBU got back in the game with a 15-6 rally that tied the score, 15-15, with 13:33 left in the opening stanza.

QUINCY, Ill. (WFIE) -University of Southern Indiana Men’s Basketball posts a big second half to defeat Quincy University, 83-77, Tuesday evening in Quincy, Illinois. USI sees its record to go 3-2 this season, while Quincy ends the evening 2-6.
USI and Quincy traded buckets and leads through the first four minutes of the game before the Hawks slowly pulled out to an eight point lead, 19-11, with 13:36 left before halftime. The Screaming Eagles closed the gap to two points, 22-20, with a 9-3 run, but the Hawks regained the momentum and pushed the margin back to eight points, 30-22.
