The immediate focus of new Tourism Fiji CEO Brent Hill will be to work with Fiji’s health authorities to restore tourism activity which has been most affected since we recorded our first case of COVID-19 in the country last year.
Hill most recently was the Executive Director of Marketing for the South Australian Tourism Commission and brings over 16 years of experience in tourism and digital marketing.

Brent Hill is the new chief executive officer of Tourism Fiji.
He is a marketing senior executive, who most recently was the executive director of marketing for the South Australian Tourism Commission.
He brings over 16 years of experience in tourism and digital marketing, advertising, branding, communications, campaign and executive strategy.
He replaces Matt Stoeckel, whose tenure ended in December 2020.

Australian-owned pasta company, San Remo Macaroni, has appointed James Askham-Levy as chief marketing officer.
On LinkedIn, Askham-Levy said: “It is an absolute privilege to be responsible for an A-team of super talented, smart and capable marketing and communication professionals in nurturing a portfolio of incredible brands, known and loved around the world.

Rob Thompson has been keeping the seat warm as acting CEO of Tourism Fiji since Stoeckel’s departure.
