SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - The 2021 St. Theresa Bread & Broth 4 Kids (BB4K) summer program begins June 23 and will continue every Wednesday through August 25 in South Lake Tahoe. Food will be distributed at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church- Grace Hall at 1041 Lyons Avenue from 10:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.

For Bread & Bread there is so much to be thankful for as the year 2020 comes to an end. The organization would like to acknowledge all of the members of the Lake Tahoe South Shore community who have so generously supported our efforts to feed and help those in need during this holiday season.
Thanks to the overly abundant generosity of donors to our ‘Thanksgiving Meal Giveaway’, there was funding left over for Bread & Broth to host a ‘Christmas Meal Giveaway’ on Monday December 21. In addition to our basic giveaway staples of dairy products, bread/pastries, and fresh fruit and vegetables, Bread & Broth’s Christmas meal included a ham, pineapples, scalloped potatoes, fixings for a green bean casserole, and sparking apple cider.

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. - Many people in the South Lake Tahoe area could use some extra help during the holidays, and local sources of free food are available to help ease some needs.
Bread & Broth will be open on Monday, December 21 and 28 from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. with bags of food. Also, their Friday food bag operation will not be open on Christmas Day but will resume on New Year s Day, January 1, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. They are located at St. Theresa Grace Hall at 1041 Lyons Avenue, South Lake Tahoe.
Phoenix Food Pantry at Lake Tahoe Community Presbyterian Church is open for drive through or walk up bags of food on Wednesdays from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. They are located at 2733 Lake Tahoe Blvd., South Lake Tahoe.
