Young man dies after battling the coronavirus for a week
Twenty-eight year old, Jay Harris Godparents said they can’t believe he’s gone at such a young age.

TUPELO, Miss. (WTVA) - Alfrazo and Teresa Pannell are still in disbelief that the man they helped raise is no longer alive.
“It s just hard to believe that in less than nine days my son was gone,” Alfrazo said.
Twenty- eight year old, Jay Harris tested positive for the coronavirus on July 5th and had to quarantine. Last Saturday, the Pannells said Harris called and said he was struggling to breathe.
Felonies
The following people were booked into the Lee County-Tupelo Adult Jail in connection with felony charges ending Monday at 11 a.m.
Lorenzin Brown, 24, of Tupelo, was arrested by the Mississippi Highway Patrol, felony fleeing, disregard of a traffic device, no insurance, no seat belt, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest.
Marcus Garmon, 28, of Tupelo, was arrested by the Verona Police Department, felony fleeing, possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle.
Michael Inmon, 50, of Okolona, was arrested by the Lee County Sheriffâs Office, driving under the influence, third offense.
Destiny Lamere, 32, of Tupelo, was arrested by the Tupelo Police Department, burglary of an auto.
