A Gold Coast father has pleaded guilty to two counts of incest with his estranged daughter after the pair reconnected online.
The daughter was 20 while the father was 47 when they connected via Facebook and later shared explicit messages in March and April 2019 before engaging in sexual intercourse.
Judge Geraldine Dann sentenced the man to 12months in prison on Monday and described the incidents as brief, totally non-violent, consensual and to some degree instigated by the daughter .
