A couple were left covered in blood after being stabbed in the chest and back in a shocking attack in Old Swan.
The road was quickly cordoned off by officers and a knife was recovered at the scene.
A man and woman were taken to hospital for treatment of their injuries, which are not believed to be life threatening.
A 21-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and taken to a police station for questioning.
