Illinois Board of Higher Education Announces Members of New Strategic Planning Advisory Committee
SPRINGFIELD – The Illinois Board of Higher Education is announcing the members of its Strategic Planning Advisory Committee, which will develop a draft plan to fulfill the board’s which will lay out a set of strategies to achieve the board’s vision and priorities (See https://www.ibhe.org/pdf/sp/Strategic Direction Revised 120320.pdf). The plan aims to create an equitable, accessible and innovative higher education ecosystem across Illinois that ensures students and communities thrive.

SALINE CO. (WSIL) You can safely watch a holiday movie while supporting high school students a part of the CEO program.
The CEO program is a hands-on class where students work together to raise money during the fall semester.
In this case, they re putting on a free showing of How the Grinch Stole Christmas as a drive-in event and are just asking for donations.
Then in the spring, those funds are used to start their own individual businesses.
Instructor Amy Mings says Saline County is one of 52 communities nationwide to have a program like this.
