Prints Available Celebrating Pure Michigan’s 15th Anniversary By Gary Stevens Jul 17, 2021 | 12:01 AM LANSING, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – One of the more successful travel and tourism campaigns is turning 15 years old in 2021. The Michigan Economic Development Corporation established “Pure Michigan” as a way to spotlight the Great Lakes State’s many and varied attractions, and Otie McKinley, the Media and Communications Manager for the MEDC, says that a special commemoration for the 15 th anniversary is meant to celebrate Pure Michigan and inspire travel throughout the state. “Travel Michigan has partnered with ‘The Mighty Mitten’ to create six limited edition prints, six of Michigan’s most popular destinations,” he said on “WHTC Morning News” during a Friday (July 16, 2021) appearance.
