Traveling to Grenada during Covid-19: What you need to know before you go CNN 2/18/2021 © JEWEL SAMAD/AFP via Getty Images Grenada is littered with beautiful beaches. If you re planning to travel to Grenada, here s what you ll need to know and expect if you want to visit during the Covid-19 pandemic. The basics Grenada went into a state of emergency on March 25 but has since eased restrictions while mandating face coverings and social distancing. It reopened for international travel on July 15, but requires a negative test taken prior to departure, and quarantining on arrival. Arrivals from the UK are banned until further notice.

Arundhati Roy invited us to consider the pandemic as a portal, a portal through which we decide what ideas, patterns and baggage we want to take with us to the other side. Will we choose to carry with us old ways of being and seeing the world that no longer serve us, or are we ready to courageously make the leap, lighter and with more spaciousness to embrace something different? It worries to think that one of the things we may carry with us through this portal, into 2021, are these outdated, worn-out, old boys’ type of partisan politics that continue to insist that the people are the laughing stock and that those elected are untouchable.
