JCI Lakambini Davao inspires women via Queentuhan

SunStar Contributed photo January 24, 2021 THE all-women organization JCI Lakambini Davao has launched a new project to inspire more women to pursue their goals. The chapter’s president, Chinggay Estil-Quong, said that as a group composed of accomplished young career women and business owners, they want Queentuhan as a venue to share an uplifting message to others. “In our chapter, we do not only strive for excellence but we value our members. Each member is unique and we uphold the values of true sisterhood - women who support each other,” she quipped. As they call themselves the “Queens of Change,” she said they represent the women who are “catalysts of change in our community. A group that encourages women to play an active role in community development and create positive change.” Thus, Queentuhan, a series of talks featured on the group’s official Facebook page, was born. This will run from January 25 until September this year.
