CLERMONT COUNTY, Ohio (FOX19) - A man who pleaded guilty in a Pierce Township double homicide was sentenced on Monday.
Craig Walker, 25, shot and killed Jeffrey R. Hutchins, 24, of Amelia, and Nicholas D. Hudson, 20, of Batavia.
According to court documents, Walker says he shot the men during a weed deal.
Walker says was set to sell the men weed, but allegedly overheard them on the phone beforehand saying they were going to rob him, the documents say. He went on to explain they did try to rob him, at which point he allegedly shot one of the men on purpose and the other by accident.

PIERCE TOWNSHIP, Ohio â A stretch of road in Pierce Township has reopened after crews pulled a car out of a creek, police said.
Cole Road had been closed between Merwin 10 Mile Road and Route 749 so tow trucks could remove the car.

A Pierce Township man, who pleaded guilty to assaulting a 1-year-old child in 2010, has been indicted on a murder charge Tuesday after the boy, now 11 years old, died of his injuries.
In June 2010, authorities said then-25-year-old Joshua McClanahan assaulted the child by shaking him at a home in Amelia.
