Duluth Junk Hunt Will Take Place Later this Month

Fox21Online April 16, 2021 DULUTH, Minn.-Some good news for treasure hunters in the Northland…after cancelling last year’s events because of the pandemic, the semi-annual Duluth Junk Hunt will be returning later this month. Over 100 vendors will be setting up inside both the DECC and Amsoil Arena to allow for plenty of room to social distance while hunting for that perfect antique, vintage, or repurposed piece for your home. “It’s really fun to see people come in. They get so excited when they find something unique, because you never know what you’re gonna find, like, that’s, it is truly the thrill of the hunt,” said Emily Broman, owner and founder of the Duluth Junk Hunt.

William “Bill” M. Eischens, age 69 of Willmar, Minnesota passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 11, 2021. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 16, at Calvary Lutheran Church, 302 Olena Ave SE, Willmar, MN 56201. A Celebration of Life will be held after the funeral service at the Holiday Inn Conference Center. Interment will be at the Catholic Cemetery in Glencoe, MN. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 15, at Peterson Brothers Funeral Home, 700 Becker Ave SW, Willmar, MN 56201. Spring 2021 Duluth Junk Hunt is Coming to the DECC Duluth Junk Hunt announced Wednesday that not only will there be a spring event this month but they ve rented two arenas, so the it will be bigger than ever while allowing space for social distancing for both vendors and shoppers. The spring 2021 Duluth Junk Hunt will take place from Thursday, April 29 through Saturday, May 1 at the Duluth Entertainment Convention Center. They made the big announcement on the official Duluth Junk Hunt Facebook page. Shopping hours for the event will be as follows: Thursday, April 29th from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
