Judge Sentences Virginia Man To Prison For Cyberstalking Tulsa Mayor
A judge sentenced a Virginia man to more than a year in prison for cyberstalking Tulsa Mayor G. T. Bynum.
Adam Donn admitted he sent dozens of threatening and harassing emails and phone messages to Mayor Bynum’s house. Some of the messages included Bynum’s children.
Donn told investigators he hoped the messages would force the mayor to cancel former President Trump’s rally in Tulsa last June.
Bynum issued this statement in response, saying, Just want to thank our friends and family who have supported us through this. This terrible ordeal endured by our family is exactly why more good people decide not to serve in public office. We are thankful there are laws that make such hateful and threatening behavior a crime.

Tulsa Mayor G.T. Bynum is focusing on the year ahead, while also looking back at the many ways the city endured the challenging and historic year of 2020.
The office of Mayor Bynum released its 2020 annual report Tuesday. The annual report goes over the many programs, projects and events the city took on during 2020 – all during a global pandemic.
Mayor Bynum said despite the challenges, those in the city pulled together and found a way to continue Tulsa s forward progress.
He noted the early efforts Tulsans made to help slow the spread of COVID-19. Bynum said Tulsa was the first city was in the metro area to issue a safer at home order and mask requirements.
