American Solera, Bike Club, and Phat Tire Bike Shop came together to host a fundraiser and help get these kids back on their pedals. Organizers of the fundraiser said they hope the money raised keeps students pedaling forward.

It s a lot of space for a lot of discovery. “We ll be having earth science exhibits, a hydro area, a water area, high facilitation areas, a virtual reality area, said Director of Organizational Development Anne Mannell. Mannell says their new building means they will be able to inspire thousands of more kids than they are currently able to.

Teachers and administrators are thinking of ways to put the pandemic-plagued 2020-2021 academic year firmly in the rear view mirror by making schools better than they were before. “It’s so exciting,” said Ebony Johnson, chief learning officer for Tulsa Public Schools. “We’ve been through so much as a country, through the pandemic. And so to be able to get these dollars … it’s exciting because we get to dream.” The $1.9 trillion stimulus bill signed into law by President Joe Biden last month sets aside more than $120 billion for education. The money, including $81 billion already released, will flow from Washington to the states and then be dispersed to districts.
