The East Carolina University softball team (11-25, 2-10 American Athletic Conference) will have a four-game series against the University of Tulsa Golden Hurricane (17-10, 8-3 AAC) from April 23 through April 25 at Max R. Joyner Family Stadium in Greenville, North Carolina. In the Pirates’ most recent game, they suffered a non-conference loss at the hands of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro Spartans (22-14, 6-3 Southern Conference) by a score of 5-4 in Greensboro, North Carolina on April 21. In that game, ECU had six hits in 28 at-bats and it also had all four of its runs batted in. The Pirates had a total of 23 putouts in the field and four different players had at least one hit in the loss to UNCG.
