COLOMBO (News 1st); The Department of Motor Traffic decided to limit its services offered by the Werahera Office due to COVID-19 concerns.
Accordingly, the DMT is to only offer services to those who reserved an appointment and new days were announced for service days.

The Central Bank of Sri Lanka has announced that all state and private banks will remain open tomorrow (12).
In view of the Sinhala and Tamil New Year, the Ministry of Public Administration announced that 12 April would be declared as a special public holiday.
However, this will not be a bank holiday.
The Narahenpita and Werahera Offices of the Department of Motor Traffic anounced that they will Provide Services as usual for the Public on 12.04.2021, the Special Public Holiday.
Public services provided by Narahenpita and Werahera Offices of the Department of Motor Traffic will continue as usual on 12.04.2021, the special public holiday, for the clients who have already reserved a time over the telephone No. 0112 677877 which has been introduced in order to provide more efficient and friendly service.
