Fire Danger level will rise to Moderate on Friday in Jackson and Josephine counties
The Oregon Department of Forestry and the City of Grants Pass will increase the Fire Danger level and accompanying restrictions effective Friday.

MEDFORD, Ore. The Fire Danger level and accompanying restrictions will increase in southwest Oregon on Friday due to sustained high temperatures and dry vegetation, the Oregon Department of Forestry says.
In Jackson and Josephine counties, Fire Danger will increase to Moderate (blue) first thing Friday morning, though the Industrial Fire Precaution Level will remain at I (one).
A new, four-month amnesty program for drivers with outstanding traffic tickets begins Tuesday in D.C. as the city resumes issuing parking, photo enforcement, and minor moving violation fines.
