Tuesday, April 6, 2021 The next virtual Saint Patch Program to be sponsored and facilitated by the Diocesan Catholic Committee on Scouting will be on Saturday, April 10, from 1 to 3 pm. The Saint to be studied will be Saint Andre Bessette. He is well-known for his devotion to Saint Joseph and the Pope has declared a devotion to Saint Joseph for this year. Also, Saint Andre was known as a healer and helped when an epidemic occurred at a local college. Scouts are invited to register and participate, along with their parents if they wish, and earn a commemorative patch for doing so. This two-hour program will help Scouts of all faiths to increase and strengthen their faith experience as an important piece of their Duty to God as emphasized in all Scouting programs.
