The FHP investigates a fatal crash involving two vehicles in Orange County.
ORLANDO, Fla. – A fatal crash killing a 17-year-old girl and injuring a man prompted the Florida Highway Patrol to close a major roadway in Orange County.
The two-vehicle wreck occurred around 6:55 a.m. Wednesday at Plymouth Sorrento and Boch roads.
An SUV driven by a 17-year-old girl from Eustis and a pickup truck driven by a 47-year-old man from Sorrento were involved in the crash, troopers said.

VOLUSIA COUNTY, Fla. – A Florida man standing in the middle of Interstate 95 in Volusia County was killed when he was struck by a car and run over by two pickup trucks, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
The fatal wreck was reported at 5:25 a.m. Wednesday on southbound I-95, north of State Road 442 near Edgewater. All southbound lanes are closed in the area.

The FHP said the 37-year-old Fort Pierce man was standing in the travel lanes for an unknown reason when he was struck by a car driven by a 39-year-old Port Orange man, who could not avoid the pedestrian.
