2020 will be remembered as the year of loss. It stole from many their family members, their plans, their financial security, and for some, even their hope. It was a year full of sickness and doubt, chaos and grief, Zoom meetings and learning how to navigate a new world of masked faces and virtual schooling.
As a senior in high school, it has been hard to accept the fact that this is how I will finish out my high school experience; online, without being able to see my friends. There probably will not be a prom this year. I might not be able to participate in track meets.
