Etihad Guest has some of the most interesting airline partners in the travel world. Many of these are based in Europe and provide service to the U.S. on limited routes.
The two most interesting are Air Serbia and Brussels Airlines.
Air Serbia from NYC to Belgrade
Let’s start with Air Serbia. The Serbian airline offers nonstop service from its Belgrade (BEG) hub to New York-JFK. This is the airline’s only long-haul route and is operated by an Airbus A330.
This plane is outfitted with a proper business-class cabin, though it uses old Virgin Atlantic seats. Regardless, it’s the only way to fly nonstop from the U.S. to Belgrade, saving you a ton of time over connecting in London Heathrow (LHR), Frankfurt (FRA) or another major European hub.
Review: How does the Jumeirah One hotel loyalty scheme work?

This is our review of the Jumeriah One loyalty scheme. Jumeirah One replaced Jumeirah Sirius last year, although it hasn’t made much of an impact.
It is the programme for Jumeirah Hotels and Resorts, the Dubai-based group with properties across the Middle East. They can also be found in London, Frankfurt, Capri, Mallorca, Shanghai and the Maldives amongst other places. Oman and Bali are coming this year.
I was waiting until I had done my first Jumeirah stay post the switch before taking a look at the programme. I received a chunk of points after my Burj Al Arab trip which I reviewed here.

To say that 2020 didn’t go quite as we’d all planned for any of us is an understatement. The travel industry took a huge hit which has resulted in a lot of customer-friendly moves. I’m very much a realist so in thinking ahead, I can’t help but wonder how long these positive changes will last. While we’re all benefiting from status extensions and generating tons of rewards thanks to mileage sales and category bonuses, there are bound to be negative consequences down the line.
