York County district attorney asks judge to seal warrant for 15-year-old wanted in homicide

District Attorney Dave Sunday said he signed off on the decision to seek a seal order in the case of Alexis Cado-Suero. He is wanted in the deadly shooting of Tyree Smart, 16, which happened on West Newton Avenue near Aunt Jo Lane in York on March 27.
Sunday said his office made the move based on the circumstances of the investigation as well as for reasons that are outlined in the underlying motion to seal. Common Pleas Judge Harry M. Ness, he said, approved the request.

Cash reward offered for tips that lead to ID, arrest in York City homicide

Police are offering a cash reward to the person who helps them identify and track down the person or people responsible for the March 8 homicide of Timiere Crosby.
Crosby, 27, of York, was fatally shot in the chest about 11:45 p.m. March 8 in the 800 block of Linden Avenue, according to York City Police.
He was rushed to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
The shooting happened near Crosby s home.
Tipsters can always remain anonymous, according to police.

Man, teen wounded in separate weekend shootings in York, police say
The man was shot just after 3 a.m. in the 700 block of West Poplar Street.

A 26-year-old man is expected to survive after suffering a gunshot wound early Sunday morning in York, according to a York City Police news release.
Just after 3 a.m. on Sunday, York City Police responded to the 700 block of West Poplar Street. A 26-year-old male victim, who sustained a single gunshot wound, was treated at an area hospital where he is expected to survive, police said. Detectives continue to investigate.
About 10:19 pm. on Saturday, York City Police investigated a shooting in the 1000 block of East Poplar Street, according to a news release.
