NEW LONDON Detectives are investigating a Wednesday home invasion in New London, according to police.
City police went to the Connecticut Avenue and Broad Street area in response to a reported home invasion, according to Capt. Matthew Galante.
When officers got there, “it was determined” two people had fled, Galante wrote in a release.
There were two victims of the incident in the home, according to Galante. One of those people was sent to Lawrence and Memorial Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, he wrote.
“The investigation is active and the incident does not appear to be a random act,” Galante wrote.
