O’Brien filly looks Divinely bet in Cazoo Oaks
Aidan O Brien has won the Oaks eight times.
TRAINER Aidan O’Brien saddles only the one runner in Saturday’s Cazoo Derby but fires five bullets at this afternoon’s Cazoo Oaks (4.30pm) in an attempt to land the Group One prize for a ninth time.
His team are headed by the much-touted Santa Barbara who finished a close-up fourth in last month’s QIPCO 1000 Guineas on only her second ever racecourse start.
That was a huge run considering her lack of experience and connections have always felt that we will only see the best of her as she steps up in trip.

Saffron Beach gives Jane Chapple-Hyam strong claims of becoming the first woman to train the winner of the Cazoo Oaks at Epsom on Friday.
Unbeaten in two starts as a juvenile, the daughter of New Bay was narrowly beaten on her return to action in the Nell Gwyn at Newmarket before performing best of the British when runner-up to Aidan O’Brien’s Mother Earth in the 1000 Guineas.
While a tilt at the Irish Guineas was considered, connections ultimately decided to step up half a mile in distance for a second tilt at Classic glory following a pleasing racecourse gallop at Epsom last week.

Dubai Fountain takes on the likes of Santa Barbara and Snowfall in the big race at Epsom on Friday. The Mark Johnston-trained filly is top rated in the field
